I sat down with Mirelle for an interview for the ‘Africans in Vancouver’ series. This lady is so delightful and I had so much fun during this interview. She is a free spirit with a beautiful voice and guitar skills that I low-key wish I possessed. She talks about her journey to Vancouver, her experiences in the city, her hiking/mountain climbing to-do list and her future aspirations. One thing is for sure, this Egyptian queen LOVES mountains!

Excerpt: “I started hiking…and I think I forgot that I was here for school and I started training to hike and climb mountains and then I realised that I had dreams to climb big mountains. The ultimate goal was Everest and I started training for Everest and when I started working out, people were like ‘What’s your goal? Do you wanna be shredded bro?’ I said no, my goal is to be fit and climb Mount Everest. And they said ‘Oh, you’re nuts!’ And I said yeah pretty much…”
One Year Update: Mirelle stills lives in Vancouver and enjoys almost every minute of it!
You really make it seem so easy along with your presentation but I find this matter to be really one thing which I think I’d by no means understand. It sort of feels too complicated and extremely extensive for me. I’m taking a look ahead in your subsequent publish, I’ll attempt to get the grasp of it!
